Logo Placement
When designed correctly a logo can entice new and potential customers to your business. Consider the Nike swoosh, the swoosh has immediate brand recognition and attracts new customer because it is an identifiable and established brand. It is also interesting to take note of where the Nike swoosh appears. Is there any place the swoosh doesn’t appear? Accordingly, logo placement is the key to effective brand recognition.
There is no limit to where logos can appear. In fact, some companies are even paying regular college students to sport their logo and promote their products. Although, this is relatively new and a rarely used practice, there is no limit to where a logo can go. There are however, at least five places where a logo absolutely should go. A company logo should appear on business cards, stationery, company clothing, the company Web site and all other collateral materials produced by the company. If placed correctly the logo can increase company awareness and brand recognition.
